Dear Son Block of the Month By Rebecca Mae Designs is a unique section of blocks for a 6-month Block-of-the-Month quilt program with light appliqué. Dear Son is a sampler quilt designed in a row-by-row format with 12 chapters that we have condensed into 6 chapters, each representing a unique section of blocks, and every chapter carries a special message. Dear Son is sized for a twin-sized bed measuring 66″ x 90″, the skill level needed to complete is moderate to confident beginners.

START DATE FEBRUARY 1, 2025

The starting sign-up cost is this payment of $70.00 which includes your registration fee & your first block, then only $45.00 per month (plus shipping & handling for non-store pickup).

This block of the month will include the fabric for the top of your quilt and binding (along with the pattern & instructions) is guaranteed with your first payment, by making the first payment you understand and are committed to a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. If you decide that you would not like to be included in our program you have till January 5th to opt out and receive $45.00 for a refund. Please continue reading below for full information.

This Block-of-the-Month starts February 2025 - July 2025, after signing up for our program you will receive our introductory email with all the information about bonus tips & video tools, along with our rewards system for our program.

When you join a block-of-the-month program here at The Quilt Shack you will have the opportunity to purchase the backing for your quilt at 20% off, if you would like to guarantee the fabric line we are using for the block-of-the-month this purchase needs to be made at the time of registering to the program. If you would like to wait till the end of the program we CANNOT guarantee we will have the yardage available or in the color choice you'd like. In the photo to the side, there will be a BACKING OPTION image (with a number) be sure to include this selection at purchase by adding the number to the notes (we also include this info in our introduction email). If you would like something else we have on hand for your backing, we will give you a coupon code after registering and payment is confirmed for our program. 

Backing options: For 45" fabric, you will need 5 1/2 yards, and for 108" fabric, you will need 2 yards.
